Wine

  • Dear summer, we’re waiting for you

In June, the vineyard may seem still. In reality, this is exactly when the most important part of its journey takes place. Every sunny day, every rainfall, every breath of wind accompanies the growth of the grapes, in respect of a balance that nature has always known.

We at Ager Patris observe, listen, and wait. Because making wine also means this: having the patience to follow the rhythms of the land, without forcing them. Summer is just around the corner, bringing with it the promise of a new harvest. Until then, we continue to care for every row of vines, certain that the best things need their time.

  • Ager Patris Sui Lieviti

The new vintage of Ager Patris Sui Lieviti has arrived!

The wine rests amid the slow gestures of bottling, carrying with it the time, the yeasts, and the anticipation that define its soul. In the glass, it expresses depth and vibrancy, a natural balance between substance and freshness.

    Our gastronomic suggestion

To accompany it, soft yet bold flavors: whipped salt cod or fresh mascarpone with spicy mostarda, and a creamy risotto finished with Parmigiano and Sui Lieviti, creating a harmonious dialogue between wine and cuisine.

  • October in the Vineyard: The Colors of Autumn

In Ager Patris, October marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of a calmer period. The vineyards change color, the leaves turn yellow, and the intense work of the previous months gives way to observation and care.

In the cellar, the must begins its journey, while in the vineyard the plants prepare for their rest. It is a transitional month, a time to take stock of the year and start looking ahead, following the rhythms of nature.

  • The slow rhythm of summer tastes like Ager Patris.

Served chilled, Ager Patris is the perfect companion for summer days. The sea breeze, with its lightness and subtle salty note, enhances the wine’s freshness, making its fine bubbles and clean taste even more enjoyable.

Whether it’s during a seafood lunch, an outdoor aperitif, or a casual dinner on the terrace, every glass fits naturally into the slow rhythm of summer. And when evening comes, as the light softens and the air cools, Ager Patris still feels right: fresh, versatile, perfectly in place at just the right moment.

  • Organic, essential, summery: the Prosecco that pairs with the sea.

When the heat sets in and cooking gets lighter, there’s a combination that never fails: fresh fish and a good glass of Prosecco. Ager Patris’ Extra Brut, with its mineral freshness and clean scent of ripe fruit, is the perfect match for simple yet refined summer dishes.

It pairs well with raw seafood, shrimp tartare, white fish carpaccio, and octopus salads. But it also holds up nicely with a seafood pasta or oven-baked sea bream with Mediterranean herbs. Its dry profile enhances the quality of the ingredients without overpowering them, keeping the palate fresh and ready for the next bite.

An organic Prosecco, as essential as a table set outdoors. The perfect pairing for those who seek lightness in summer — even in their glass.

  • The pleasure of Prosecco: an explosion of taste

Drinking a glass of Prosecco is not only a pleasure of the palate, but an experience that is shared with the people we love. A toast with Prosecco is an occasion to celebrate life’s great and small joys, from birthdays to simple get-togethers with friends. Its sparkle combines cheerfulness and elegance, while its freshness makes it an ideal companion for any occasion. Whether in an elegant goblet or a more casual glass, every sip of Prosecco Ager Patris is an invitation to live the moment with joy and lightheartedness.

  • The return of Extra Brut: a renewed classic

We are excited to announce the return of Extra Brut to our Prosecco range!
A wine that has won the hearts of fans thanks to its freshness, elegance and pleasant savoriness. Ager Patris’ Extra Brut is perfect for those who like a dry, but not too aggressive Prosecco.

Its balance between acidity and minerality makes it ideal to accompany fish dishes, fresh appetizers or delicate cheeses.

With the return of Extra Brut, we want to give a unique sensory experience that will enhance any special moment.

  • Harvest 2024: a vintage of challenges but with prospects for quality

The upcoming harvest brings with it the excitement of any new vintage, but also some concerns related to the challenges that the weather has given us. This year, however, the grape harvest will be accompanied by a mixture of challenges and expectations, the result of the capricious weather that has characterized the season: heavy spring rains followed by a scorching summer have in fact created a complex mix that has affected plant growth and grape ripening.

This combination could lead to an earlier harvest start than in past years.

In addition, forecasts in the Veneto region indicate a slight decrease in quantities compared to last year. Clusters are less abundant, but their quality gives us hope. The lower yield, in fact, often results in a concentration of aromas and flavors, characteristics that we try to enhance in every bottle of Prosecco Ager Patris.

Even in a complex vintage like this one, our goal remains unchanged: to produce a Prosecco that can tell the story of the territory and the passion we put into our work. While the quantity will be lower, we are confident that the quality of the 2024 wines will live up to expectations, with a fresh, fruity and well-balanced flavor profile.

Cheers to a harvest that is different, but just as special!
